What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?

I took a Duck Tour around Boston and loved it! Although I grew up in this area, it was a fun way to learn more about the city and see it from a different perspective.

What is special about CSTM?

The students, faculty, and staff make the CSTM special. I felt a sense of community the first day I started working here. Everyone was so helpful and kind that I felt overwhelmed with gratitude that I still feel today.

What is your favorite CSTM tradition?

The Christmas Potluck Luncheon is becoming my favorite tradition. Although we've only had two, they were a lot of fun. The mix of music, people, and food gives the gathering great energy. It's the perfect way to head off for the holidays.

Favorite spot on AVÑо¿Ëù's campus

There are so many beautiful spots on campus it's hard to name just one, but I love the Simboli Chapel. Maybe I'm biased, but I find the intimacy of the space and its simple beauty very peaceful.

What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?

I admire Boston as a beautiful and rich city with a variety of opportunities for intellectualÌýflourishment, spiritual growth and socio-cultural swelling. My favorite thing to do is toÌýwalk and drive across Charles River and gaze at the beauty of a city with a profoundÌýhistorical heritage and the amazing diversity of people who make this city ever great.ÌýThis River gives me a distinctive place for relaxation, meditation, contemplation as wellÌýas socialization whenever the opportunity is given.

What is special about CSTM?

The synergy between the Dean, the faculty, the administrative team and the students isÌýamazing. The ever-greater commitment of the school to integrating internationalÌýstudents, listening to the needs of the world and accompanying local churchesÌýworldwide are inspiring and encouraging.

What is your favorite CSTM tradition?

The Thursdays’ liturgy and repast. This a unique moment for me to connect with theÌýCSTM gathered as a united community to pray together and share our experiencesÌýaround a meal. It gives me a glimpse and a taste of the first Christian communityÌýdepicted in Acts 2:42-47; a simple and humble community whose ChristocentricÌýfellowship and co-responsible discipleship in God’s vineyard continue to be an abundantÌýsource of inspiration.

Favorite spot on AVÑо¿Ëù's campus:

AVÑо¿Ëù Memorial Labyrinth is one of my favorite spots. I enjoy walking there peacefully,Ìýoften on Fridays evening, while meditating on the mystery of life with its joys andÌýsorrows. This prayerful experience consolidates my hope as a believer in theÌýredemptive grace of God who conquers evil through an everlasting love and peaceÌýmanifested in Jesus, the Lord.

I love how many restaurants there are in Boston. I'm always visiting new places with my friends and trying things I haven't had before.

What is special about CSTM?

To me, the level of authentic support is what makes CSTM so special. We are each here for our own reasons, following our own callings, and we are all so supportive of each other's journey. I always know that I have discernment partners and cheerleaders, ready to help me reflect and encourage me whenever I need.

What is your favorite CSTM tradition?

I love when we have our lay-led prayer service each semester. Worshiping together is so special every week, but there's something so wonderful about hearing my classmates' reflections.

What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?

Just a little outside of Boston is the Arnold Arboretum. I love taking long walks with or without a picnic stop there, especially when the lilacs are in bloom. If I'm not wandering around smelling flowers, I'm at or singing in a concert, enjoying a cold beer at a local brewery with my friends, or settled in with an audiobook and my latest craft.Ìý

What is special about CSTM?

I was first introduced to CSTM through the students. I was so inspired and impressed by their thoughtfulness, intelligence, and grace- I knew working with and for them would be a wonderful next step in my career. It is the same from the inside too- these students, the work they do, and the care of the people who support them are what makes CSTM so special.Ìý

What is your favorite CSTM tradition?

There are so many wonderful events and fun traditions we have here, but the "tradition" I most love is the ethos of service. If someone has a problem, we drop what we're doing if we can and help until the problem is solved, no matter how many sleuthing hats we need to wear. There is a tradition of care unique to this school and I am so honored and proud to be part of it.Ìý

What is your favorite thing to do in Boston?

Walking around the city along the Charles River Esplanades on warm sunny days, strolling the brick pavement streets in Back Bay, then having a nice cup of coffee by the river. Enjoying the foliage of historic New England towns on sunny fall days.

What stands out most to me is the sense of community that is actively fostered and regularly maintained.

What is your favorite CSTM tradition?Ìý

I'm not tooÌýfamiliar with the breadth of STM tradition, but Repast is awfullyÌýnice.

Favorite spot on AVÑо¿Ëù's campus.Ìý

Probably the baseball field.Ìý The stands are as well-maintained as the manicured field, making for an excellent place to sit for a few moments whether people are playing or not.
