The Second Sunday of Advent

The Second Sunday's reflection is offered by Molly Wysocki.听She reminds us of the importance of "trusting in hope." Molly is a senior in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Economics and Theology. On campus, she serves as the Vice President of the Liturgy Arts Group and actively participates in the Arrupe International Encounters program and the University Chorale. She also works as a student employee at The Church in the 21st Century Center.

The Third Sunday of Advent

The Third Sunday of Advent is also called Gaudete Sunday. Named from the Latin word "gaudete鈥� meaning "rejoice,鈥� it marks a moment of joy and hope during the period of preparation for Christmas, signifying the nearness of Christ's coming.

In his reflection on today鈥檚 Scripture readings, Finn Regan 鈥�26, reflects on the joy that we can bring to others. Inspired by today鈥檚 Gospel, Finn encourages us to remember Jesus鈥� call to help strengthen and walk with those who are in need. This Advent, let鈥檚 pray for our ability to seek, create, receive, and treasure joy in our lives.
