Grants
The Institute for the Liberal Arts at Boston College is accepting proposals for projects that will be funded during the 2026-2027 academic year in two categories: minor grants & major grants.
Major grant听proposals will be accepted starting听September 13, 2026 ($2,000 to $25,000) for projects that will take place between June 1, 2027 - May 15, 2028. The Fall deadline for proposal submission is October 26, 2026 and decisions will be made by the end of December 2026. The Spring deadline for proposal submission will be March 29, 2027, and decisions will be made by end of May 2027. We will continue to consider Minor Grant proposals for the current academic year.
We strongly advise that proposed event and conference dates should take into account important dates on campus, such as football games, parent weekend, and other important university dates. Please refer to the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Dates to Avoid.
Minor grant proposals do not need as much lead time and may be submitted in the same semester that the project will be carried out.
Innovations in Graduate Education听proposals to pilot new programs that will improve graduate education at Boston College are currenlty suspended.
CWAV研究所 Colloquium Fellowships in keeping with the CWAV研究所 Colloquium mission, are designed to advance women鈥檚 leadership by providing funds to help offset the costs of an unpaid summer internship that either (1) provide a position with an organization (or part of an organization) focused on advancing issues related to women鈥檚 leadership, or (2) promote the leadership skills of individual women.
