Hannah Clay (she/her) specializes in Victorian literature and culture. She is especially interested in disability and illness narratives. She holds a Bachelor鈥檚 in English and Philosophy from Jacksonville University, a Master鈥檚 in English from Boston College, and a Master鈥檚 of Library and Information Science from Simmons University, where she concentrated on archival theory and management.
Hannah is passionate about teaching and has taught at the junior high, high school, and college levels. She is currently teaching an elective course titled 鈥淰ictorian Abnormalities: Disability and Illness in Victorian Literature and Culture.鈥 Outside of her teaching and research, Hannah has years of experience working in libraries and archives. She currently holds a position in the archival processing department at the Burns Library, where she works to preserve archival materials and ensure they are accessible to researchers.
